Originally from Malaysia, Dr Hakim completed his medical and Biomedical Science honours degrees at University College Cork, Ireland. Known for his warm and approachable manner, he takes time to listen and to involve patients in decisions about their health. His interests include family medicine, preventive care, chronic disease management, men’s and women’s health, children’s health, mental health, healthy ageing, and minor procedures. He speaks English and Malay. Outside work he enjoys time with his family, exploring Auckland, travelling, and keeping active.

Originally from Malaysia, Dr Azira completed her medical degree and Biomedical Science qualification at University College Cork, Ireland. She recently relocated to Howick and is delighted to be part of the local community. She is passionate about compassionate, patient-centred care: building trusted, long-term relationships and supporting individuals and families through every stage of life. Her clinical interests include women’s health, family medicine, children’s health, preventive healthcare, chronic disease and diabetes management, mental health, and antenatal and postnatal care. She speaks English and Malay. Outside of work she enjoys time with her family, exploring Auckland, travelling, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Dr Juliana Bahadin-Ang

Dr Juliana Bahadin-Ang

General Practitioner

Dr Juliana Bahadin-Ang is an experienced vocationally registered general practitioner who has practised in both New Zealand and Singapore, bringing nearly three decades of clinical experience. Before moving to New Zealand she held senior clinical and leadership roles in Singapore, was actively involved in medical education, and served as clinical faculty at Duke–NUS Medical School and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Her special interests include women’s health and menopause, adult ADHD, mental health, chronic pain management, weight management and preventive healthcare. She takes a holistic, evidence-based approach and values working with patients on practical treatment plans suited to their circumstances. She speaks English, Malay, Mandarin and Indonesian.
