Services

Everyday care, in one place.

Appointment-based general practice for every stage of life.

General consultations

Everyday illness, ongoing conditions and preventive health, for every age. A standard appointment is fifteen minutes with one doctor. Ask for a double appointment when you have more to discuss.

Immunisation

Free vaccinations under the New Zealand Immunisation Schedule, and privately funded options where needed: the childhood programme, pregnancy vaccinations, adult and child flu vaccines, MMR, HPV, whooping cough, meningococcal, shingles, the 45 and 65 year vaccinations, travel vaccinations, and catch-ups for missed doses.

Cervical screening

Screening for women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 69. There are now two options: a simple self-taken vaginal swab, or a sample taken by a clinician. Regular screening together with HPV immunisation is the best protection against cervical cancer.

Well Child checks

Free Well Child / Tamariki Ora health checks tracking your child’s growth, development and immunisations, with time for your questions at every visit.

Minor surgery

Removal and biopsy of skin lesions, benign moles and skin tags, and ingrown toenail surgery, all done here at the practice without a hospital referral or the wait that comes with one.

Liquid nitrogen

A fast, effective treatment for viral warts, sun-damaged skin and benign skin lesions. Often a single visit is enough; some lesions need a second treatment after two weeks.

Minor accident and injury care

Treatment for most minor accidents and injuries, including mole checks, with referral to the right service when an injury needs more than we can do here.

ECG

An ECG records your heart’s electrical activity through small electrode patches on the skin, and helps investigate rhythm problems and chest symptoms.

Spirometry and peak flow

Breathing tests that measure how well your lungs are working, used to diagnose and monitor asthma and other conditions. Allow fifteen to thirty minutes.

Travel health

Travel advice and vaccinations tailored to your destination, alongside the practical health precautions worth knowing before you fly.

Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions for patients with stable long-term conditions, requested by phoning reception. Same-day and next-day options are available.

Labs and results

Blood and other samples are taken at the practice and sent for testing. We contact you whenever a result needs discussion or follow-up.

Telehealth

Phone and video appointments for enrolled patients, for the consultations that don’t need you in the room.
